Scale object set

Scales the entire object space and all objects within.

Description

Scales the entire object space and all objects within. This has the effect of uniformly scaling all objects. Scaled objects are related as children of their respective input objects.

Parameters

Parameter Description
Input objects Objects to be scaled. These are related as a parent of their respective scaled object.
Output objects Output scaled objects to be stored in the workspace. These are related as children of the respective input object.
Scale mode (x-axis) Controls how the output x-axis resolution is calculated:
  • "Fixed resolution" The output object set will have the specific resolution defined by the "Resolution (x-axis)" parameter.
  • "Match image" The output object set will have the same resolution as the image specified by the "Image (x-axis)" parameter.
  • "Match object set" The output object set will have the same resolution as the object set specified by the "Object set (x-axis)" parameter.
  • "Scale factor" The output object set will have an equal resolution to the input size multiplied by the scaling factor, "Scale factor (x-axis)". The output resolution will be rounded to the closest whole number.
Resolution (x-axis) If "Scale mode (x-axis)" is set to "Fixed resolution", this is the size of the output object set.
Image (x-axis) If "Scale mode (x-axis)" is set to "Match image", the output object set will have the same size as this image.
Object set (x-axis)
Adopt calibration (xy-axes) If "Scale mode (x-axis)" is set to "Match image" or "Match object set", and this is selected, the output object set's x and y axis calibration will be copied from the input image's x-axis (MIA uses the same value for both axes).
Scale factor (x-axis) If "Scale mode (x-axis)" is set to "Scale factor", the output object set will have a size equal to the input resolution multiplied by this scale factor. The applied size will be rounded to the closest whole number
Anisotropy warning
Scale mode (y-axis) Controls how the output y-axis resolution is calculated:
  • "Fixed resolution" The output object set will have the specific resolution defined by the "Resolution (y-axis)" parameter.
  • "Match image" The output object set will have the same resolution as the image specified by the "Image (y-axis)" parameter.
  • "Match object set" The output object set will have the same resolution as the object set specified by the "Object set (y-axis)" parameter.
  • "Scale factor" The output object set will have an equal resolution to the input size multiplied by the scaling factor, "Scale factor (y-axis)". The output resolution will be rounded to the closest whole number.
Resolution (y-axis) If "Scale mode (y-axis)" is set to "Fixed resolution", this is the size in the output object set.
Image (y-axis) If "Scale mode (y-axis)" is set to "Match image", the output object set will have the same size as this image.
Object set (y-axis)
Scale factor (y-axis) If "Scale mode (y-axis)" is set to "Scale factor", the output object set will have a size equal to the input resolution multiplied by this scale factor. The applied size will be rounded to the closest whole number
Scale mode (z-axis) Controls how the output z-axis resolution (number of slices) is calculated:
  • "Fixed resolution" The output object set will have the specific number of slices defined by the "Resolution (z-axis)" parameter.
  • "Match image" The output object set will have the same number of slices as the image specified by the "Image (z-axis)" parameter.
  • "Match object set" The output object set will have the same resolution as the object set specified by the "Object set (z-axis)" parameter.
  • "Scale factor" The output object set will have an equal number of slices to the input number of slices multiplied by the scaling factor, "Scale factor (z-axis)". The output number of slices will be rounded to the closest whole number.
Resolution (z-axis) If "Scale mode (z-axis)" is set to "Fixed resolution", this is the number of slices in the output object set.
Image (z-axis) If "Scale mode (z-axis)" is set to "Match image", the output object set will have the same number of slices as there are in this image.
Object set (z-axis)
Adopt calibration (z-axis) If "Scale mode (z-axis)" is set to "Match image" or "Match object set", and this is selected, the output object set's z-axis calibration will be copied from the input image.
Scale factor (z-axis) If "Scale mode (z-axis)" is set to "Scale factor", the output object set will have a number of slices equal to the input number of slices multiplied by this scale factor. The applied number of slices will be rounded to the closest whole number
